• Business Case Template – Outlines the elements needed to create a business, economic, commercial, financial, and management case for an infrastructure project.
• Project Charter Drafting Tool – Outlines the elements needed to create a project charter – a short document that describes a project in its entirety. Topics include objectives, key parties, governance, roles and responsibilities, ethical framework, communications.
• An Introduction to Procurement Models – Describes the advantages and disadvantages of different options for procurement – the process of securing professional support outside of an organization’s staff members.
• Cost Sharing Explainer Tool – Describes an approach to a fair and equitable recovery of costs associated with an Indigenous infrastructure project. This includes identifying users (or beneficiaries) for both the construction and lifecycle costs of a project.

WEBINARS

In 2021 FNII offered a series of five webinars to support Indigenous communities with infrastructure planning, development and maintenance. In this series FNII Development Board members, technical team and guests covered a variety of project types such as water and wastewater treatment, multipurpose buildings, and economic development and lease land construction.
